There are so many turning points in this country, I don't know in what direction we're heading anymore.

Safe to say we've been going around in circles, actually.

The game is on. Isreali and the USA can't attack HA, Syria or Iran directly without going against international law and losing the support of the UN and EU. So what they will do is get HA to start a war so that they can claim defense and get support.
There are many ways to skin the cat and HA will fall into a trap and eventually start a war.
Can the west win? If they do, what price do we M14ers pay for the salvation of our counry from the Lebanese Taiban? What will the Arabs pay for their salvation from the Syrian Mafia?
If they lose...again... can we exist? The stakes are very high I am just not sure I feel comfortabe leaving them in the hands of Olmert and Bush.

From NOWLebanon.com : "The Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot reported Riedel’s commentary on its website, quoting him as saying, “Israel has succeeded in the aftermath of the second war on Lebanon by penetrating Hezbollah’s ranks, and Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah knows he is targeted as well,” Riedel said.
And they say there is no justice! Just set back and watch these terrorists masquerading as mullahs be plucked one after the other. Baklava anyone?!

(NOWLebanon) The March 14 coalition said that no words of thanks could express their gratitude to the Lebanese who challenged danger, torrential rain, and poor road conditions in the north, south, Bekaa, Mount Lebanon and Beirut to say once again that they remain loyal to former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and the martyrs assassinated since 2005.
The coalition assured its followers that the situation after February 14, 2008 would be different from what was before the demonstration and that they would no longer give in to blackmail or allow anyone to “occupy our home.”
A statement issued by the General Secretariat of the March 14 bloc said that the Lebanese made their choice on February 14, 2008. “You reaffirmed your commitment to the principles of the Cedar Revolution, which you made on March 14, 2005,” it read. “You have shown that the majority of the Lebanese people is represented in the Parliament and Cabinet, after other tried to stage a coup through assassinations and bombings and fabricated illusions.”
The bloc said that through their participation, the demonstrated who gathered in Martyr’s Square on Thursday defeated terrorism and refused the return of Syrian guardianship to Lebanon.
The vast participation of Christians, the coalition added, restored faith to Christian history and principles, as well as respect for the Maronite Patriarchate.
The equally vast participation of Muslims proves that their only choice is the moderation and openness of leaders like Rafik Hariri.
“On February 14, 2008, you proved that there is no weapon in Lebanon except the Lebanese army,” the statement continued.
The March 14 forces promised to find a national solution to the crisis in Lebanon, and promised they would no longer succumb to blackmail. “We will reach a safe harbor together. Lebanon is our nation. It is our homeland, and we will not allow anyone to take it over."
(NOWLebanon) General Secretariat Coordinator of the March 14 forces Fares Soueid that the Lebanese majority is committed to the Arab initiative and the nomination of Army Commander General Michel Sleiman, adding that March 14 will use their constitutional right to elect Sleiman by simple majority.
In an interview with radio station Voice of Lebanon, Soueid said that Arab, international, and popular made the constitutional election of General Sleiman possible.
"The Arab League will exert moral and political pressure for the election of the President and if a president is not elected, the majority will use their constitutional right to elect Sleiman."
Soueid said there was no room for dialogue with Hezbollah in major decisions as long as the party set their own agenda, adding that as of today the March 14 bloc were unwilling make any concessions demanded by Hezbollah.
Soueid confirmed the will of the bloc to elect Sleiman before the Arab summit in Damascus and added that as of next week, March 14 will send delegations to the capitals Arab countries and the rest of the world to explain their position.
Soueid commented on the "harsh tone" of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who threatened open war in his speech at the funeral of the party’s security official Imad Mugniyah, who died in a car bomb last week in Damascus. Soueid said Nasrallah meant to openly say openly that the decision of war and peace was in his hands.
“The leadership of Hezbollah are not to place the Shia sect and Lebanon in a confrontation with the rest of the world.”
He stressed the Lebanese reluctantly accepted and adapted to the July War, but could take no more. He added that the people should not be made to bear Hezbollah’s decisions to take responsibility for bombings outside of Lebanese territory.
Soueid noted that the massive Christian participation in the third commemoration Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s assassination proved that no one could drag the Lebanese Christians into something they did not believe.
The recent attacks on Bkirki, the Maronite Patriarchate, led to this Christian revival, Soueid said.

"care to elaborate" While JW is kidding, there are always those who fail to follow the clues.
NOWLebanon had the meaning of the poster, but to save you the trip...
We will not remain without a president.
Syrian influence will not return.
We will not allow the army to be targeted again.
The Special Tribunal and international resolutions will not be stopped.
Not a single terrorist will remain on Lebanese soil.
No one will interfere with our affairs.
Not one person will be naturalized in Lebanon.
We will not be ruled by an extremist or a tyrant.
The constitution and parliament will not be raped anymore.
No weapons will remain outside the government.
Our borders will no longer be violated by Syria and Israel.
No Lebanese will harm another.
Our ambitions and dreams will no longer be stolen.
In defense of the state.
For the victory of Lebanon.
